The annual meeting of the 2BeSafe research group was held on February 22. The meeting was attended by project leader Mario Uroš, researchers Senad Medić, Marta Šavor Novak and Marija Demšić, and project PhD students Ante Pilipović and Romano Jevtić Rundek.
Prof. Uroš gave an overview of the report for the first year and the achieved goals of the project. With the establishment of the research group, one of the first tasks was accomplished, namely the initial assessment of the seismic resistance of typical buildings, based on which a number of concrete and masonry buildings were selected for further analysis.
In addition, activities and commitments for the next period have been announced. These include the development of complex numerical models of selected buildings, participation in conferences, and other plans to disseminate the project results.
