Member of the research group Ante Pilipović attended SPRING SCHOOL 2 URBASIS-EU, 15.5.-20.5.2023.
The spring school of urbanistic seismology and risk analysis was organized as a part of the ITN URBANIS-EU project. In this event, young researchers from all over the world have a chance to discuss relevant subjects with experts in areas of risk analysis, seismic hazard, insurance, private enterprises etc… The school programe encompassed many relevant subjects from the area of seismology, earthquake engineering, risk analysis within the context of urban areas, including ground motion prediction, estimation of local conditions, estimation of risk and loses based on the spatial distribution of these variables. Finally, modelling of seismic waves through the ground as a physics based model was presented.
